Who do you believe PO scandal

Yep. Same Barrister tactics he skewered Johnson with. Sunak isn't as unprincipled a blackguard as Johnson and will have learnt caution.
:D Johnson hated him with a passion, he didnt know he was dropping himself in the cart every time he bumped his gums. A bit later you could see he was told by his reptiles to be very careful what he said, later on he used to stutter on about Starmer being a barrister.

It's far fetched that a seasoned business leader would make contemporaneous notes of a meeting with a senior civil servant?
Further, its far fetched that the senior civil servant and/or government minister would not keep notes of something this explosive.

In my experience - both are plausible.

Maybe they have something on Wattsapp that hasn't gone missing

Not sure where you work in politics but I would advise you revise your reality.

Quite clearly misquoted my post.

I clearly said that I find it far fetched that there is no minutes, not that he would not make notes, clearly he would.

So in point I said I find it far fetched the only reminisce of the meeting, is a note.

I also stated to make a point another poster made I don't believe one is telling 100% truth and one 100% and most likely a cross over, so yes I do give him some weight, I already said that also.

Appreciate stop twisting my comments because I didnt "criticise the government" deemed in a way fit by some members of this board.

Nor do I parktake in childing name calling or like "Prize Minature" - I don't find making fun of peoples physical appereance remotely funny in anyway what so ever, no matter who they are. People doing so are noting but immature.

Forgive if I don't wish to partake in that activity or excuse me for calling it out, I am sure you will join me in denouncing any such comments no matter who they are aimed at?

But, this is the bit we disagree about.
I can understand an off the record conversation to direct someone to do something. If the direction was controversial (and this would have been) then, in my experience it wouldn't be minuted. Chatham House rules and all that.

I get what your saying, and if that instruction had come from a minister to him, then I'd find it a lot more plausible. What is being suggested is a civil servant is doing this, which being one I find a little less plausible. In my experience I have not known officials every attend a meeting without a readout.... buy maybe I'm wrong, sure if I am it will come out.

If it doesn't maybe I'm not

Perhaps the Civil Servant was explaining how half baked a lot of MP`s are.
Take Boris Johnson, Matt Hancock, Miss Patel the Bully, Mr Bone, thin end of a wedge.
We seem to have a bigger problem of crime and deceit from 600 well educated, and very well paid people, than say 600 NHS workers or 600 factory workers

There isn't a week goes by that there some sordid sex touch up reported or accusations of corruption in the House of Commons.

That wouldn't be the first time I have heard that!! lol

Seems the mask has slipped again.
Care to explain? What mask? Why would I be wearing a mask to begin with? Literally already said earlier if it’s someone sly political party dig I wouldn’t be shy about any of political beliefs or votes, why would anyone be. It’s your democratic right to vote and should have the courage of your convictions to stand by it or change it as you see fit.

Their seems to be some weird thought process on here that people don’t

Ta ra.

Henry Staunton former Chair of the Post Office who claims he was told to stall on compensation payments in the run up to the election
Or
Kemi Badenoch who is accusing him of lying

If it helps the Postal Services Minister says he doesn’t recognise what Henry Staunton is saying.
That will clear it up then 😂

Badenoch not on the front bench for PMQ's today and Sunak refused to endorse Badenoch's claim that the ex-Post Office chair was lying about the conversation about compensation payments.

She should be toast, but Sunak is so weak in a party so in hock to the far right, who have her as one of their favourites.

So Badenoch badenough to bounce out yet?
