Which players will excel the most under Wilder?

Personally I don’t have clue but I’ll go:

Dijksteel, McNair, Spence, Payero, Crooks and Sporar.

Not overly confident in those by they are my tips.

Djed Spence is the one who springs to mind who might have a ‘Come to Jesus’ moment.

Bola, Dijksteel, Fry, Howson and McNair can all play a bit, and can play in a 3 at the back. For some reason I think Dijksteel and Bola might thrive at CB or as wing backs. Howson might really suit it. (And Bamba is still our best player!)

Crooks and Payero, someone can make a proper midfield out of those two.

I quietly think Uche might thrive in a similar system to Wilder’s Sheff United. He works so hard up front, can only do 65 minutes which is fair enough.

Tav and Crooks and the defence as a unit pretty much whoever plays there.

Think one of the strikers will do the job for him too. Watmore suits the press but I'm hoping Coburn and Sporar become a superb double act.

Definitely Tav, this needs to be a good season for him. Still convinced he is one of the best in the league on his day, not that we’ve seen that for a while

Yeah, think Tav is perfect for playing a high press, his effort and energy levels have never been in doubt. Can Wilder help him with the end product?

If we play the overlapping centre backs then McNair. Think Wilder has been interested in him in the past.

Payero for sure.

Another vote for Tav. He’s got the energy and the engine to fit in perfectly to Wilder’s style.

If we mirror the style of Wilder’s Sheff Utd team, then you’d have to say Paddy McNair is perfect for the overlapping CB role.

Payero or Tav could do the Lundstram/Fleck job. Crooks maybe too?

If we mirror their wing back style I think he’ll bring back Djed and play Bola left Djed right, Dijksteel can be a centre half alongside Fry and Paddy.

I think(hope) we will see a good amount of 2 up top, which will benefit Coburn and maybe Uche too, with Sporar.

My question is where do wingers like Isaiah Jones and Onel fit into it?
