That managed for over 1 full season, not stand in caretaker boss ?.
Monk’s was pretty high. Not sure but it's a daft stat really because it doesn't take into account variable situations. Managers like McClaren probably has a lower win percentage than someone like Carrick because he was in a far more competitive league. Robson who got promoted, relegated, promoted probably has a lower win percentage than Carrick as well.
Carrick hasn't had a bad period that got him sacked yet like anyone that got sacked had so his should be higher. If looking at just their record in the Championship then it would probably be Robson. Karanka would be next and then it would be Carrick.
I'm only going back to the 90s but there's possibly better before then. Managers that stick around for a long time tend to lose more over time.
I left out Monk (and Southgate) because of the "at least 1 full season" criteria.Monk’s was pretty high.
Charlton’s would be very high if second tier only.
It will be Robson surely, as he had two promotions. The two seasons he had in the second tier we won the league and finished 2nd two seasons later.
His relegation season followed by a near miss wont have helped the stats. It will be Robson surely, as he had two promotions. The two seasons he had in the second tier we won the league and finished 2nd two seasons later.

Thought we were only talking about the second tier? His relegation season followed by a near miss wont have helped the stats.
Aitor - 46.78%
Monk 46.15%
Robson 40.%
PPG is surely more important than win %.
Monk only had 20 odd games?Aitor - 46.78%

I guess he won half of them then....... People asked about Monk so I typed it.Monk only had 20 odd games?

No I think Nano is right, but I just wanted the boss with the highest %Agree. A manager with a 33% win percentage sounds like a failure, but in the PL, that's reasonable midtable form. You wouldn't be close to relegation with that, which is all some of the clubs can hope for.
