Damage has already been done and seriously too. No it wouldn’t be a great surprise and I have to admit I do find it odd that he hasn’t made an appearance given the signals that have been issued. Lack of communication always fuels rumour and speculation but the club did say Leo would be in charge until the Huddersfield game so let’s see what the next day or two brings.

Leo has said he is just going to continue until he’s told otherwise. Doesn’t sound like anything is imminent and it feels like we are just going to continue down this road for a while longer yet.

I can’t believe it’s taken this long.

I also can’t believe the sentiment last week of “it’ll be disrespectful to Percovich to announce it and expect him to take control for one more game” and “it’ll be nice for Percovich to have one more game in charge in front of the fans”

I posted something along those lines.

1. Saying it was disrespectful to Leo up 4-1 away at Wigan for fans to start singing Carricks name!

2. When it was reported that Carrick’s first game would be away at Preston, I thought it would be nice to see Leo one last time at the Riverside and to give him a good send off.. because that’s what it would have meant.

Unbelievable!!

Nobody knows what is happening, but it’s Carricks first proper managerial job in what I’d imagine he’ll be hoping is a long career. If this doesn’t go well it could take him another few jobs to put his career back on track, and so I think it’s perfectly reasonable for him to want certain things like budgets and back room staff completely sorted before he takes the role.
If those things don’t get sorted for him it’s probably best he doesn’t take the role really.
