Small business's with 5 -700% increase in energy bills.
Small shops getting rid of chillers or selling chillers . ( welcome to the 3rd world)
nursaries closing by the score whilst schools are considering 3 day weeks due to energy increases .
Our own natural resource ( wind power, fresh water, oil and gas) are sold to us by foreign owners based on profit.
So called government silent.
Iceland ( shop) offering credit to buy FOOD.
When will say enough !!!!
This is not Right.
Where is the anger??
 
The anger......it's bubbling. Just needs a spark, a trigger.

Tories are so out of touch with the mood of a huge percentage of the population they are utterly fixated with keeping a tiny number of RW zealots happy in order to keeping the money rolling in.

Let's see how these EIE demos do.
 
On the radio this morning it quoted a recent survey in which an incredible 12% of people questioned thought their energy bills would be lower this winter, whilst we have these levels of gross stupidity and apathy nothing will happen, The Daily Mail will tell them its all good in the world they will be happy !
 
The problem is with a zombie PM and no successor yet announced there’s no figure head at which to vent their anger at.

As boris doesn’t care and isn’t even here.

Once this changes and we have a target to focus I think things will change rapidly.

I think we’ll see major civil unrest this winter
 
Because enough people, read enough media that blames anyone but the people involved.

I had a conversation with a pensioner who can't get a council house blaming people who are employed living in the council houses. Saying they should have their own house.

Not questioning why someone in employment needs the house, or why there aren't enough for all who need it.

Our media tells a lot of people what to think.

It's what people voted for.

People chose to elect a party of sociopaths based on one issue. This is what happens.

I am fuming but it is what it is until we get chance to vote our way out.

Will the turkeys vote for Christmas again? I wouldn't bet against it.

Thats refreshing, the majority seem to blame the housing crisis on immigration

When the likes of the mail have the biggest influence of anyone in this country over politics I wouldnt be surprised if we get another five years of this.

Immigration will be a huge part of this next election, lefty lawyers backed by Labour stopping the tories from taking any action and thats why you cant buy a house, see a doctor, heat your home etc. Sad thing is people will lap it up

Daily Mail circulation is 909000. Leaves a helluva lot of people to be influenced outside of their relatively low circulation !

A few bricks and bottles down Downing Street and there’ll be a proper energy price cap in place in the blink of an eye. As Dame Shirley sings…….”It’s All Just a Little Bit of History Repeating”!!

100%. Being the summer recess and having no leader means the questions just aren't being asked of them. Truss and Sunak are waffling on about things that don't matter to 99% of the country and they are almost a sideshow of irrelevance. We're all just waiting for someone to stick their head above the parapet, insert their feet into their mouth and tell us how there is no problem and the backlash will begin.

The Tories might have locked in the old people vote up to now but even they won't be happy with £500pm energy bills when they are used to paying £50.
 
They're going to end up stealing Starmer's idea on the price cap and rebranding it to make it look like their own. Starmer stole it from the Lib Dems anyway, apparently. It's just not sustainable the way things are going. Businesses are going to collapse all over.
