What's gone so wrong for Sheff Utd?

If they bin Wilder I would be genuinely worried that they come after Warnock.
He certainly couldn't be expected to turn them down.
I doubt it, he doesn't have a record of keeping teams in the top flight. Allardyce would be the obvious one.
 
I think this is what happens: the players who have got the team promoted and make an impact in the first season start getting the ar.se when, to maintain the prem status, the club starts to spunk big money AND wages on other players. team morale hits the skids and results suffer
 
If I was Brooks I would either stay at Bournemouth or see what other teams come in for him. He goes there he’s just gonna be in same boat again, they are coming down for sure.

I can understand the concern but I honestly don’t know if I could see him taking it at present. He’d be better off waiting til the summer when they sack the next one.

He has no chance of keeping them up this season so might as well let someone else take the inevitable flack for them losing most of the next 20 odd games. Someone will have to.
