Just got round to reading Bob’s And Away. What a lovely warm and funny book it is . Got me thinking whether any of Bob’s gang - Cags and co, are known to any on here? Or even on here themselves?

Oh, and to come round from his heart surgery just in time to see Boro, on the tv in his room, beating Man Utd on pens in the League cup. How surreal and beautiful was that?!

The book was a really pleasant read. A bit like Bob unsurprisingly! - easy going, not too serious and some pretty daft things in there.
I enjoyed it a lot. My Mam loved it too. She's a bit in love with Bob. And so am I to be honest.Not good for the ticker I would assume!!

Been on the bookshelf since Christmas, now that the football season is over I'll give it a bash. Beer, garden, book.
You'll enjoy it mate. The only downside is that if you've watched Bob's appearances on WILTY and seen the fishing shows then you'll already have heard a lot of those stories before.
