what is your favourite Emerson goal

Just seen a TikTok of his best Boro goals.

He scored some belters.

My favourite is his goal at Old Trafford in a 3-3 draw.

Vs Sunlun at Roker for me, a better strike from further out (cf SoL) and he had been getting racist abuse all the way through that game.
Both goals v Sunderland will always be remembered for ever They reckon that on both occasions when the ball hit the net it stretched the pitch by a foot.

My favourite was V Chesterfield, very difficult technique braying the ball letting it go across the top of your foot, but it was a very historic and joyously tearful night.

Put Chesterfield to bed after nearly causing us heartbreak.

Vs Sunlun at Roker for me, a better strike from further out (cf SoL) and he had been getting racist abuse all the way through that game.

I was in the Sunderland end with my two lads and my Sunderaland mate - the abuse was vile.
I was so wound up when he scored - I stupidly jumped up turned around and said something like ‘that’s his fookin answer’.
It kicked off a bit but, thankfully quite a few S’land fans intervened and stopped the eejits.
A steward came over before the end of the game and helpfully said it was best to leave with him now. We did!

All a bit daft and scary with me kids being there.

Surely the Roker Park one was better?

Absolute thunderbastard of a goal. Didn't Sky measure the speed and it was something silly like 88mph
Loses points for the slight deflection in my own opinion. I’m something of a perfectionist where goals are concerned, I like them pure!

Plus the one at the SoL had that assist, a beautiful pull back by Merson, stunning goal

Did he ever do scruffy a tap in from 2 yards out? All his goals are worldies from outside the area, or from the edge of the area.

Any goal against Man Utd from that era must rank as the best.

Pretty sure he scored a few decent ones in the Championship (well, First Division) too.

Sadly, the fact he behaved like a complete tool the whole time he was here takes the shine off any fond memories of him.
