Last night the pizza shop had a two hour delivery time so I nipped to Aldi abs bought the non-frozen stuffed crust cheese and tomato and meat feast special. Amazing on a level with M and S

Also the sea salt and cider vinegar crisps.

Not Aldi but I’m a massive fan of Italian week at Lidl. When it’s on I always stock up on these little shortcake style biscuits with a choc hazelnut filling and dusted with icing sugar. Amazing with a Sat morning coffee.

No but ive bought loads of random tools off them over the years ive never even opened, just in case one day i might need it.

The PLAIN Houmous Dip is pretty damn fine ( not sure why this is so easy to taste right- has literally 6 ingredients - but according to her indoors - this is pretty damn fine) - also the bagged Croissants - chocolates and the price of some half decent wines -hasten to add they are all Mrs Bandits things - she is such a lush

They deserve their success. Really shaken an established market up in the last few years. Plus, from what I've read, they treat their staff and suppliers pretty well.

I always get my coffee beans from there (Italian blend) lovely and so cheap compared to all others.

We also get their mint choc ice lollies. Better than Magnum mint and 4 for 99p.

I like the bakery at Lidl. Chocolate twists, pastel de nata, sourdough and olive bread all as good as Sainsbury at a much lower price.

The promotion stuff at Lidl is also very good. In fact both Lidl and Aldi do some excellent wine promotions.
The big 4 just seem to stock the same old stuff week after week, year after year and it's all pretty boring.

Can't remember the name, but they do a perfectly palatable bottle of red plonk for £2.99.

I’m not sure how Lidls wine ratings stack up against Robert Parker’s but I do like picking up a 90 plus rated one, now and again. They did actually have one in that had been rated 90 plus by Parker himself for a while, not sure if they still have it.
