What do you do on evenings?

I spend quite a bit of time on iPlayer and you tube.
iPlayer has some amazing programmes on and its surprising how much old stuff comes up that you wouldn't think of being on it. It and you tube are quite similar really in that if you use them often enough, they get to see the stuff you like and then start suggesting other stuff for you that you never would dream of.
I found that yesterday: I watched the D B Cooper doc on iplayer which led me on to the People's Temple massacre 2-parter and now I've got more stuff earmarked. I love going down that sort of rabbit hole

Started up doing those wasgij jigsaws, theyre a nightmare as unless you go online you can't see the picture until you've finished it, but they take plenty of time.

Other than that I started playing cm0304 again on my laptop, or I'm making football shirts on photoshop

Finish work at 5ish after working from home all day. Watch The Chase, help cook tea with the missus, watch the news until 7pm, Take dog for a walk, Have a shower, watch tele. Go to bed.

Sometimes i go out with my camera on an evening. Went to Newcastle and did some nice street stuff and bridge photography the other night. I might spend the next evening editing the pictures and sharing them on forums and FB groups im in. Tele is generally on in the background but most of the time im just browsing on my phone or laptop.
Repeat most nights.

The last month I’ve been furloughed and I’ve pretty much just drunk alcohol and watched tv whilst stopping at my girlfriends. Probably done a bottle of wine every night 😬

In normal times I’ll go to the gym or cinema, maybe watch a movie or play a bit of Xbox on my rest days. If I’ve got my 3 year old son I’ll usually just collapse with exhaustion 🤣 When I’m working I’m usually asleep by 9 as I get up at 03:30.

Hate this time of year and the short days, can’t wait to get past Xmas and the shortest day knowing better weather and better fishing is on the way. I’m back to work tomorrow so as soon as the match finishes I’ll be asleep.
A day without Wine is like a day without Sunshine. Enjoy UK !

Tend to spend the first hour after work in the gym followed by making tea, and then just chill out with Netflix or YouTube. Enjoy those moments when you get to just sit or lay by yourself in the dark listening to some music.

Rarely find myself watching much live football recently, I think having it on every night is overkill. There is so much more you could be doing than watching Burnley v Fulham etc. for two hours of your life.

@Cooper671 on a completely unrelated note, these were on the floor near your bins the other day.

Monday night is the only night we really watch 'live' telly (quiz night on BBC2) apart from Masterchef. Mrs Fufkin does her sewing most nights for a couple of hours or so and comes to bed much later then me. Whilst she's doing that I tend to have a bit of a browse on the internet, inc. on here, and watch documentaries I have recorded or comedy stuff on download or catch-up, sometimes play daft games on my tablet. I have a beer, maybe 2 on Wed and Thurs, wife has a glass or 2 of wine. Have a few beers and/or a rum or 2 on a weekend night though. Tend not to drink anything Sun, Mon and Tues, although occasionally we'll have 1 beer if the fancy takes us. I tend to go to bed quite early through the week so never drink loads

Having written that down, it's clear we lead quite a dull existence!

Tried something different last night, was feeling a little fruity so went for ‘the crab’ pose. Quite difficult to do and get up from without injury but ultimately quite satisfying and gives a slightly different perspective on the world to your handstand (or indeed to being upright). Try it, fills in a good 2-3 minutes, longer if you can’t right yourself.

Yoga, gym and running. Then a cheeky blast on animal crossing new horizons
Wish I had your get up and go. Was a gym regular pre first lockdown but am now fat and lazy and can’t be pestered with anything after I get in from work (handstands and crab pose apart). Terrible really.

It did feel weird not having a glass last night, I don’t drink at all the night before work for obvious reasons.

Didn’t use to drink wine at all until I started going out with my current girlfriend, think there is some rule that you have to drink if you are in the police, she loves her SA wine as she has family out there and they all go to the wine farms.

Found a really nice Sav at Aldi I like, they do a Chenin in the same range which she likes so I usually pick up a bottle of each for us. My favourite is Oyster Bay but that’s probably because I took a bottle round her place the first time I went round there for dinner.

............... and they all go to the wine farms..............
Vineyards .................... if we're all turning into alcoholics let's at least get the terminology right. (y)

Since the first lockdown I've been ordering beer from a brewery in the Wolds. This time I've ordered so much they aren't sending it by courier it's coming on their own wagon that does the pubs/shops run. I think I might have a bit of a drink problem. 🍻

Edit: Brewery .................... or beer farm. Which ever you prefer.

I'm the same, absolutely love the summer nights but despise winter. After the bed time routine with the little one, I tend to go out for a 30min to 1 hour walk, by the time I'm back I'll sit and watch something with the missus before bed. There's been a lot of mid week football which is great and does help but there's the temptation to have a few tins whilst watching the match and tbh I don't enjoy watching it as much due to the lack of fans and VAR seemingly spoiling everything.

Roll on the spring!

I wake up really early and go to bed early (about 8) read for an hour in bed and then sleep . Retired a couple of years ago so nights are much like my days . Ilive alone so lockdown wasn’t a mega adjustment and I’ve got more really into my DIY and cookery during my day before The dark .
A couple of days a week I have my mam who’s in my bubble over To stay over and spoil her .
Ive lost 2.5 stone since March as have clobbered booze on the head especially on a night so feel a ton better in that respect .
