What did you drink as a student

3 or 4 vodka oranges downed before every pint of Stella. I don’t drink anymore now but had 3 cans of Bud Light round a friends house recently and woke up with a hangover.

If you’re asking what I drank during my apprenticeship days, Scorpion lager, castlemaine xxxx, and olde English cider spring to mind.

Similar to yourself, I never went to Uni until I was in my 40's after I was forced into a career change due to a works accident.

Whilst an apprentice at Smith's and on day release at Longlands I would go into town to get my wages and end up in Billy Pauls and have a few pints with Paul Frost. I would shoot off home worse for worse and he would go on the tele and read the local news.
 
As a college student in Guisborough the only pub that would serve me without question was The Courtyard and pints were £1 all day until 7pm so I tended to drink Boddington's or Worthington Creamflow.

Of course all shots were also a quid so Aftershock was consumed in similar quantities.

How that pub actually made any money I have no idea. I think it closed for a few years but is re-open now. Haven't been drinking in Guisborough since I left in the early 2010s though.
