We Own This City by Justin Fenton. It's a "true story of crime, cops and corruption in an American city". It's about a recent case of a dodgy squad of cops in Baltimore, a city I used to live in and love, has a blurb on the back from David Simon who wrote The Wire. That's enough to sell it to me. I've only just started, I'll get back to you later!
I've got a pile of about 10 books to get through after this.
Recently finished:
The Grand Design - Stephen Hawing - 4/5, well written not to hard to understand
This isn't Happening: Radiohead's Kid A and the Beginning of the 21st Century, really enjoyed this in a nostalgic way
The Thursday Murder Club - Richard Osman - damned good fun
Gotta Get Theroux This - Louis Theroux - ad as a box of frogs
Undespited Truth - Mike Tyson - forget Theroux THIS is as mad as a box of frogs
