What are your plans for tonight

Spent mine with my dad watching a band in the local club, not sure how many I’ll have left with him and it’s one of the only traditions we have as a family.

I hate New Years Day though, especially when there isn’t a Boro match!
 
We had a lovely evening last night and the meal was cooked to perfection. Plenty of fireworks going off at midnight in the surronding area but no one was out in the street. It seems like first footing is a thing of the past.

We finished the night with an Irish coffee and had a lazy morning.

Went to Yarm and it was relatively quiet , nice and subdued , a good atmosphere and no nonsense.
Happy new year to you all , may the transfer window bring us much joy and hope . UTB
 
I didn't really have a NYE. I had ceremonial duties to perform with the elders. I managed that okay. I wasn't feeling very well though so I walked home afterwards, got drenched, watched a film, walked the dog and then went to bed.
 
Was in bed early, we don't really 'do' NYE. I see enough of people all year round, really. Sounds a bit miserable but it's really not, was grateful for a quiet, early night. Been out with the grandsons, seeing the local Morrismen doing their thing with swords, knee bells and funny handkerchiefs this afternoon, the kids thought it was the funniest thing they'd ever seen.
