What are your best 3 movie soundtracks?

Is there a difference between the score and the soundtrack? Some films the score is the soundtrack, other films the soundtrack is a collection of songs. I went for soundtracks but there are some iconic scores.

Jeez, now I'm getting confused. It was hard enough picking 3 without the rules being changed. It's like Hamilton v Verstappen all over again.:)

I've enjoyed anything with Johnny Greenwood or Nick Cave/Warren Ellis involved.

On that note I watched Spencer last week, wasn't blown away by the film but Greenwood's soundtrack is absolutely incredible - weird Jazz/Classical fusion which arguably drives the film more than any of the on screen action.

Notable shout out for Mogwai's "Zero Zero Zero" soundtrack - not a film but amazing all the same and the only soundtrack I own in physical form (I think).

Star Wars
Return of the Jedi
Empire Strikes Back

end of thread :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

some honourable mentions
most tarantino films
blues brothers
godfather
goodfella
indiana jones

Indiana Jones
Star Wars
Deer Hunter (Cavatina)

Run close with:
Schindlers List, Superman and Never ending story.

I think John Williams features heavily here!

Oh! and the Bond Theme is worth a merited mention, especially the guitar solo.
