What an awful game so far

Lets get something straight here.
I am 100% a Boro fan and have been since Stan Anderson was manager.
Totally behind this manager too.
I welcomed the signing of Assombalonga but wasn’t sure about the fee then.
Nowadays I don’t care about fee’s if Boro can afford it as they must have thats good for me.
its the quality of the player that I see in the pitch that matters now to me.
Assombalonga has, apart from brief spells shown hisself to be totally out of his depth with regard to basic control, heading ability, aye shooting, and balance.
He needed ti lose weight when he came to give himself a chance to rectify those faults.
He hasn’t, he is a fraud, every manager that he has worked under must have seen that.
Warnock, giving him the captaincy was the last attempt I feel to put that rocket up his backside to get him to perform consistently, and not just score goals.

Its failed and if he is a Boro player come February I would be astounded.

He will go for anything Boro can get.
But I bet you the fee is non disclosed out of embarassment.

Where do you think he'll be going in February ?

Britt got the first goal in a tight game.
He did his job last night, it was an excellent finish under pressure.
We are 7th in the league and looking better than we have for a good few years.
Time to get behind the players, the manager and the club.

Not knocking the team, Manager or club, have a look !
Its lump of lard Britt that I want shot of.

I think we need to be realistic and face facts about our tactical approach.

Warnocks first priority is not to lose games and end up in a relegation battle. A defensive approach is to be expected and Coventry set up very well to defend.

On Britt, I don't see a great footballer but he is a good finisher. His goal was taken superbly. Let's concentrate on delivering those incisive passes and he will put them away.

I'm sure that Warnock will be looking at the issues we have in the final 3rd.

I remember we has a striker once who would do jack all game then be there to put the ball in the back of the net.

For the majority of fans, football is 98% mediocrity and 2% elation. I have come to accept that and it makes my enjoyment of the game all the more.
