What’s on your Christmas Dinner?

Stuffed Chicken Crown wrapped in bacon
Roast Potatoes
Roast Parsnips
Sprouts (with bacon and chestnuts)
Swede
Savoy Cabbage
Yorkshire pudds
Lashings of gravy
Mint & Horseradish sauce

Mince pies, christmas pud with the creams (clotted and double) for afters

Then pick at a tub of Roses and Heroes for the remainder of the day

Cold turkey... due to a freezer incident had to cook that already.

Like most on here I'm all about the pigs in blankets.

And sprouts.

Also a cheese board big enough to give an entire army high cholesterol between the two of us
All about the cheese. We go to a place called the Mousetrap; it's superb and they do nationwide delivery on their platters which are incredible!

Roasties
Mash
Yorkshire's
Beef
Pigs in blankets
Carrots
Broccoli
Parsnips
Cauliflower
Some other meat tbc
Probably some other veg tbc
Sage and onion stuffing
And a big dollop of horseradish
Mint sauce with raw onion to splash over the puds

Yule log for afters. Or "wood cake" as my friend's daughter calls it

Cheese, bread (with balsamic and olive oil dipping sauce), olives, silverskins, prosciutto, salami, pastrami, chorizo and crackers for supper, although last night we ate most of the cheese so will have to go back to the cheese shop today to replenish (turners of low fell, absolutely superb)

We usually use the Teddington Cheese but sadly had to shamefully se tesco this time. Still as long as the have Roqeufort, stilton, and 3 other types of blue cheese I'm happy.

Thianks for the tip though. I'll check them out for the new year cheeseboard

Sainsburys lasagne, steamfresh veg and parmentier potatoes (Because Sainsburys only had family sized packs of roast potatoes). oh and some pigs in blankets. Its just not worth the hassle when you're on your own!

I reckon if I was by myself I'd be happy with a plate of pigs in blankets and a bottle of red wine. More than happy in fact 😁

A lot of people having Yorkshire Puddings I see. I love them but I must admit I never thought they were part of a Christmas dinner.

My girlfriends family don’t have Yorkshire puds, luckily enough we are going to my mams this year so I get my Yorkshire puds !
