Barnsley are averaging 1.7 points per game include a blip against boro i'd have them finishing on a season average of 1.63 points per game.

Sounds worth a go but as long as we've got a manager who gives up with 10 minutes to go, no chance.
 
Can you imagine how bad next season would be if we did manage to get promoted? We would almost certainly break Derby County's record points tally! Not ready for promotion by a very long way.

Average points needed for a 6th place finish is 74pts (rounded to whole number). Boro win all 6 remaining - 75 pts achieved. Fewest points for play off was Leicester with 68, lowest points to get promoted was Blackpool with 70 - not sure there is any chance of either of them this year.

6 wins will certainly give us a chance - in typical Boro fashion I predict 5 wins on the trot and then a last minute Wycombe equalizer to ruin it😔
