Well I feel old today

Happy birthday Block, dim distant memory back to that age, I'm 59 but still very fit and active, life goes through season's, all ard different

The following week, 4th March, Uwe scored our last hattrick at AP, which was my daughters 1st birthday & my dads 60th

Thanks Erimus. Great Stuff. Gutted I never got to Ayresome Park.
Took my daughter to AP just before it was demolished in 1997, she was almost 3, took photos of us both in the holgate, on the pitch, close to the dugout, in the south stand seats me & my dad sat in & where I 1st started going in the boysend, still got em in my album

The 1st time we won as a league club on your birthdate was 1910 when beating Spurs 4-3 at AP, with goals from Robert Young, his 1st ever Boro career goal of 5, Edward Verrill, Samual Cail & Freddy Pentland, a record received from QPR when we signed him for £350, he won 5 England caps & was a coach in Germany when WW1 broke out & was interned for the duration of the war, though he could go as he pleased just couldnt leave Germany, along with former Boro player Steve Bloomer
