If Anderson gets to 600 in this test imo think he‘ll retire. If he falls short think he’ll miss the winter tours and a final test next summer hopefully in front of a full house. Maybe that will solve the selection problem for now when Stokes returns.

Been struggling to find number 3 since Trott retired so let keep Crawley at 3 and hope Burns can sort out his batting problems.

He is a specialist opener though. If Burns doesn’t find form it make sense to have Crawley/Sibley opening when Stokes comes back in. Woakes is certainly worth his place in the side now and you need to make room for him.
