I thought the pre kick off display was top drawer. (y)

I haven't a photo, but it comprised of large red flags acrosss the South Stand with a central roll down display copying the American Troops raising the US Flag after the capture of Iwo Jima, but instead of the Stars and Strips it was Boro themed flag.

It was great... The recreation of an iconic image which was itself a recreation. The actual raising of the US flag wasn't recorded so it was repeated after the battle for the cameras. Doesn't take anything away from the power of the image we know and recognise. UTB
