yep he finally started with Mcgree and Jones and had a decent LB. Well done for finally accepting the obvious

Well that’s it, many including me had said McGree should be the first name on the team sheet and Jones should be ahead of Silvera, Rogers etc. Would you believe it they were our best players yesterday.

Fair play to him though for dropping Lath for Coburn, can’t have been an easy call but Coburn has been very good these last 2 games.

Massively under pressure and this board shows the temperature. Never threw any player under the bus and was very loyal to the full group. Something very rare in this day and age, recent managers haven't been so kind to players. Well done MC and from me its to be admired when the chips are down.

For me not once have I written him off but rightfully so people have questioned his decisions and tactics which is natural after so long without a win in the league.

Yesterday's performance was whole hearted with a toughness and togetherness from everyone, fans, players and coaches and that's all I have wanted to see along with some good football which was what we seen, Southampton are a good side ut I thought we managed them really well and where patient in our play and that come from having more experienced heads on the pitch.

Excellent and well deserved win and both Carricks and Howsons interview post match where terrific and you can see they have been discussing things all week.

We now need to build on that performance next week and hopefully be a bit more clinical but again we created Excellent chances nd s the confidence grows the goals will come!
