Interesting to see how Ryan Reynolds & Rob McElhenne got involved with Wrexham.

I thought they were best friends who were both really clued up on the footy and maybe had some sort of connection with Wrexham.. turns out not so much!

I’ve not started it yet.

I knew they had no link to Wrexham or wales it was just picked.
Seems like it came out of the idea of taking a club from the bottom of the league pyramid, interesting that the club if the third oldest professional club.. in the world and they have the world's oldest international football stadium! I’m guessing that the history was factored in and the fact that it was fan owned and accessible.

Looks like they’ve had a decent start this season and they have tik tok sponsoring their shirts..

I think the fact they've been perennially non-league for a long while and available for fairly cheap will have helped too.

League Two being the promised land is a lot easier to bankroll than the higher divisions.

Just finished watching Season 1.. what a great show.. love or loath the idea of Hollywood stars taking over a little club they really do seem to have struck a great balance and the whole Town seems to be behind them.

The show itself is well worth a watch with plenty of football, behind the scenes, laughs and a fair few emotional moments.

This is Sunderland is back for another season.. the one where they get promoted!
Still think we missed a trick not going for a Netflix special whilst Neil Warnock was here.. it would have been pure to gold!!

I'd rather watch Ted Lasso

Or the Arsenal one, or the Sunderland one, the F1 one, or the rugby one, or the etc etc etc.....

Some really enjoyable episodes in it.
It's done wonders for the town too.

Some of it was a bit hit and miss for me though, like the second last episode where it was about 20 minutes of a random American woman telling us that men are afraid to show affection to each other and that's why sports are popular, or the strangely pro-hooligan episode.

I enjoyed it. Strangely find myself keeping an eye out for their results now as well. It'll be interesting to see how well they do over the next few seasons and how the Disney documentary progress with them. They'll have a huge fan base state side if they end up doing well.

Rob McElhenney comes across a fairly nice guy, I thought. Also interesting watch Ryan Reynolds start to get the bug.

I can’t remember his name but do recall from one of the old Boro message boards an ex-Grove Hill lad who wrote in regularly from Wrexham. Wonder if he’s still about?

They've managed to get themselves Live on ESPN in the States today in the Cup Qualifying vs Blyth. I cant see that happening in the real world without the Hollywood connection.
