You forgot to mention how silly it looks. When and why did this become a thing?
Probably the same time people started identifying as pans and penguins? When and why did this become a thing?
I know, I didn't even realise it was a "thing". Its a comfort "thing" for me.Why did it become a thing of being judged wearing what the hell you like, when you like, regardless of the weather?
They do look like they need a bit of guidance when everyone else got several layers on to keep warm. It is like daft gets wearing their pajamas in the street. Why did it become a thing of being judged wearing what the hell you like, when you like, regardless of the weather?
It is different when you are participating in sports - People would think you are daft if you left the house when it was raining cats and dogs, people can also think you are daft if you leave the house in a pair of shorts when it is baltic. To he honest it's a 'thing' with various professions. I imagine as a delivery driver or postman it's alright as always on the move. My postie wears them all year round.
I've never remotely been bothered by it. I work at a lot of B&Qs and many of the warehouse staff live in shorts.
I get the same when out running. Always some Doyle asks why I'm wearing shorts and t shirt yet running in a hat and gloves (people say the same about footballers ). I usually just think 'f"ck off you melt and actually do some exercise'
