Acun Ilicali, Hull City chairman, said; “During the international break we had a number of meetings with Shota to discuss the direction of the team and the future of the club. As these meetings went on it became clear that our views weren’t aligned so we have made the decision to part ways.

That’s chairman speak for “We spent the last two weeks lining up a replacement who will be announced tomorrow”

I am, I just felt that he was out of his depth and too inexperienced so better to cut loose early for both parties.

I’m still worried though that we are signing players due to the Chairman rather the manager which could prevent us recruiting some managers who want to do things entirely their own way.
 
Considering how bad Hull's defence is, I'm amazed it's taken this long to sack him. I foresee Hull being the next Watford with a new manager every 3-6 months
