That's not a recruitment issue. PAyero was unhappy here, and was frozen out by Wilder. He didn't want any form of project, he wanted finished article players, which was unrealistic of him. Tav, we didn't want to sell, but had no choice in the end. Yes there was a failure to get an adequate replacement, and Mowatt was a cheap short term fix, he's just been underewhelming. The flip side is that we have signed 7 or 8 youngish players with potential, and 3 free transfer older players that can guide them. That's the sustainability model we need.
