Some are talking about the summer transfer window as if we’re going to get a shed load of money for Spence then all we have to do is strengthen the squad. Unfortunately with transfer windows clubs come in for other players as well so we won’t know our squad until the end of August. On thé up side I have all the confidence that replacements will already be pencilled in and any new players lined up.

Think Tav is the one we're most likely to lose and wonder if his replacement is already here in McGree.

I made this point when McGree signed, it was a big outlay for a player that plays in Tav's position.

I hope Tav stays because I think he's a top player at this level and has the talent to step up to the EPL and the fact that we may get close to £20 for Spence may have an influence on what we can do this summer.

Hope so, would rather have both and as others have said we need a bigger squad with more quality cover.

I think if Payero settles, we keep Tav (and Howson) and can bring in more of a holding player to rotate with Howson, then cm is covered.

Knowing Boro’s admin we probably would end up with twenty pounds for Spence.

Think a few sides are sniffing, very experienced for his age and a lot of attributes in demand from prem sides. Obviously not from the area, so maybe not as loyal as Fry might be. Is he a Leeds fan? I know he's from there. Could be a destination for him.

I've felt for a while (and particularly since CW arrived) that Jones and Howson are the two players we'd struggle for cover with.
