Interesting start. Corboran red carded after 6 mins for touching the ball while still in play. Southampton winning by 1 goal after 20mins

Would have been a good result WBA getting beat a few weeks ago, regarding the playoffs. Seems less valuable now as we drop down the League. :(

He just touched it with his foot didn't he?
Was deffo still in (on line).
Never seen that before in a game.
Love it when sport throws up new situations like this. Bit like when our keeper took a throw-in the other week.

Watched twenty minutes and it was like a heavyweight boxing contest in the late rounds.

Both teams happy to knock the ball about incessantly without getting anywhere. Shouldn't really be shocked with a Russell Martin team but found it a tad 😴😴😴😴.

Still, doesn't bother us ......

The top 6 are playing with a cutting edge ..

We.are a decent champo club and will be for a,few years to come but we are soooooo far-away from automatic promotion

We can only hope to salvage 5th or 6th most seasons and winning the play offs is a bridge too far anyway

I quite enjoyed watching wba v ston quick football purposeful good game I thought

Passionate

But will the 3 of the cutting edge clubs who get up be relegated by Christmas?

And this is the real problem these days, getting the core of a promotion team who can step up and survive.

A few clubs who bounced in recent years like Norwich and Watford are no longer bouncing, it gets harder to do every time.

I thought WBA were very ordinary - we defintely played better at Preston.

As said before Southampton look the side to get the third promotion spot. They have a lot of strength in depth because of their large financial funds so they are in effect grinded their position out.
