WBA should be concerned

They're struggling, another defeat today at Millwall, Boro now level on points with scoring 4 less, Coventry have 2 games in hand over them with a couple of ithers, us included have a game in hand

In a few weeks they could be sitting outside the playoff pack

There is something wrong inside the club with Sam Johnstone being dropped from the team last week and not in the squad against Millwall.

I imagine the Johnson thing is that his contract is up in the summer and a few prem clubs want him.

I imagine he will be sold on Monday.

Unless he's just seen his ar*e as he's been priced out of a move (apparently want 6-8mil with 6 months left).

Good keeper. I reckon he will get a move

I don't think their fans are too happy they could have got Wilder and didn't, especially since he's turned our season around.

Stoke have dropped to 12th, they may still make a run for the top 6 but they had a poir run of results. One team I thought would have been right up there with us

I work with someone who is connected to WBA and he has said after coming back from Injury and missing 2 games he. was apparently asked to sit on the bench for the game against Preston and refused. This led to some heated words and Johnstone was sent home. How true this is but the person does work within the inner reaches of the club on match days.

Their fans blame the owners spending peanuts on new players & expecting big money transfer fees for players going out... £6-8m for a keeper with 6 months of his contract & 1 day left in the window is ridiculous...

Have to hope Val keeps the job as they are terrible to watch & make 'old' Wimbledon / Pulis, football, look flamboyant..

Either of them reasons could be true.

This is the guy who turned barnsley from relegation fodder to playoff participants .. just shows you cant do wonders at every club you go to .. but expectation levels will be much higher at the baggies

Didn't the manager before him do most of the good work (before earning a move to one of the New York clubs) and he just continued it?
