Watching Luton game in San Sebastian?

Lucky lad ! There again June myself. Usually Irish bars aren’t a bad bet - there’s one called Molily Malone near la Concha beach. That said , I don’t think there’s a Monday night la Lisa game this week so prob any of the old town bars with TV will prob oblige. I was there last September and watched us beat Sunderland on my iPad sat by the harbour on a balmy night . Love the place

Any tips besides the obvious sights - I'll be there 5 days but it's a bit out of season for some things it seems
 
Eat pintxos, plenty of em … meson Portaletas was a
good place as I recall , but there are loads. Food is great in that area. If you want get out of town Orio along the coast is meant to be ok, you can go on euskotren fro Amara station. It’s just a great city to mooch about in and if the sun is out , the beaches are grand. I wasn’t there too long to get out of town .
Bilbao is an excellent city too if you’re near.
Sociedad are home tomorrow at 5,30 if you’re already there - they’re in a champs league spot so it’d be worth it . Failing that they’re away at Osasuna a week tonight - Derby game of sorts 1 and a half hours away in Pamplona .. that would excellent .

Not there til Sunday unfortunately but if I like it I could be back to use it as a base for exploring other towns you mention. I've been to Bilbao before and Guernica
 
I’m obviously unaware of what you like kuepper , but I’d be mighty surprised if you didn’t like it . It’s great place , a city by the sea rather than a resort per se. We have nothing really to compare in the UK . People are great too. I’m told some of the in land smaller towns are really good. It’s also about 15 miles from France - st Jean de luz wouldn’t take long . You change train at Hendaye which is the end of the line for the Basque operated Euskotren . In truth it’s 20 miles away all told to St Jean … you’ll love it I’m sure . Sociedad are now my Spanish team 🙂
