Has anyone else observed that they've disappeared around where you live?
We had loads early in the spring, coming in the house all the time, but I don't think i've seen more than the odd one for a number of weeks now.
Perhaps they're all busy and will start being a pain around september time as usual, but it feels like they've gone around us.

Good point. I've noticed a good few bees, but barely any wasps.

not many insects at all, I used to have a real job cleaning them off the front of the car but not many now

It must be due to the mild winter, so many insects emerged from hibernation too soon, before the flowers were blooming.

That is going to mean issues with pests down the line.

Its ants where we are, seems to be loads of them in the back garden, never had them before in 9 years here, not sure how to evict them!

We had a load in the garden with the first heat wave, but very few over the last few weeks.

Mix a bottle of raid powder with hot water in a large watering can, pour mixture down every entrance to the nest you can find.
