Warnock would take defeat tonight as long as...

Some good performances from players needing game time and some of the youngsters trying to impress.
Oh and no injuries and suspensions.
Don't think he fancied the idea of Chelski away next Wednesday in his interviews

I don't think he cares about the result to be honest. He'll be using it as a pre-season game to get more players up to fitness and scratch.

Plus the fact we already know our potential opponents are Chelsea, doesn't give us much of an incentive to go out and win.

I expect he would.

He really didn't sound thrilled about the Chelsea match from the pre-match programme, so I'm sure he'd not mind avoiding it.

I do hope we'll have enough to beat them, regardless of Warnovk's misgivings about going down to Chelsea.

Really interested to see how Morsy performs on his debut.

It's probably the most 'I'm not bothered' attitude I've seen in years😂. I think he maybe sees it as a pain other than a runout for Fringe players.

I fully understand it. It's been a nightmare pre season and covid etc. We don't have the players we need and playing the likes of Britt and Fletcher would be madness if they get crocked.

I actually think the bigger 'pain' is the double draw. The thought of Chelsea away is just a massive midweek pain with bio bubbles and travel etc. Also the chances are we get pumped in an empty stadium. I'm not saying I want us beat. I will get over a loss pretty quickly if we won on sat.

I would love us to have a game against Chelsea.

I hate getting knocked out by teams in lower leagues than us.
