Daft Off Tangent point - I read an article a few years back about "pension pot" singles (I think it was to do with Greg Lake and his Xmas song) and it was reckoned that this one earned Peter Starsted (sp?) around 50-60k a year in royalties as he wrote it and kept the publishing. Not bad at all.
