Warnock announcement on Monday

You really think that? I had no idea who she was & I've just watched her X factor try-out; she's got a great voice.
As for Arthur , I went to one of his concerts last year( or the year before?) At Jones beach here in New York. He was one of the support bands . I thought he too was decent.

Of course I don’t, the place will be full of 13 to 15 year olds screaming their heads off! ;)

Warnock said he was meeting Steve Gibson (last) Thursday but then he was going away for a few days and turning his phone off.

Yeah, I was meaning from the point of view of the holes in the squad and the (widely agreed) rebuild that is required. Yes, the division might be quite open but we currently have half a side Worth of players at best who could in a top half squad. The current squad finished scraping through a relegation scrap and needs a good deal of reinforcement. I think there’s no one better than Warnock to give us a chance but time is very short this summer and the rebuild may not be fully achievable, hence, the top places being a long way off as things stand. I’ll be fully behind NW if he is the manager but I’m not gonna expect miracles or whinge if they don’t happen and I would hope others don’t expect miracles or get on his back either. Hopefully we’ll all be pleasantly surprised though 😊

I’m not expecting miracles. Every season is a roll of the dice even with the most experienced managers and the biggest budgets. 7th - 21st means the same in reality. Fingers crossed we have a good one.

It’s only 6 weeks before the start of next season and I would hope that we have already had a decision from Warnock, in principle at least if not on paper, if he is to continue, as I and many others hope, or not.

If he has agreed to continue then any announcement won’t stop the recruitment team from contacting targets that Warnock has approved and we can try and get our business done early, I expect we’ll be in touch with WBA, Cardiff, Wigan and one or two other clubs if an agent friend of a friend is to be believed.....

My feeling is if he wasn’t going to continue he’d have said so straight away given us more time to recruit a suitable replacement, which makes things a bit more difficult.

No rush. I doubt it effects moves for transfer targets. He will have given a few names if he's agreed to join.

A few clubs moving quickly already picking up frees. I would be stunned if he turned us down. I think he's gonna like the 'challange'.

Correct me if I am wrong but Pulis very quickly said he wasn’t staying on after last season and I also think Warnock is too straightforward to play games with the fans on whether or not he will be here next season.

Great time to cut the overpaid underperforming loose.
Raise some money, free up an already freed up wage bill and letWarnock build his squad.
He has history for doing this quickly and well.
A top 6 push is likely if Gibson empowers him.
I'd say highly likely if Gibson injects some equity to help with recruitment within FFP.
And I just think he might.
Promotion is the only way he can stop having to bail the club out, reduce his guarantees and create something he could sell if he wanted to.
Typical back handed compliment.

The outcome is more important than having to wait a bit longer for it
Sans doute, mon ami. But my concern was not the speed of the announcement but rather the fact that following our nerve shredding relegation ride many are in the proverbial deckchairs and treating NW's appointment as a foregone conclusion. With talk of his impending transfer acquisitions, tactics and what type of flowers Mrs Warnock prefers I have genuine concerns for the mental health of some of my fellow fans if it doesn't happen.😉
