War games over the North Sea

Apaches out over hexham and the Atlas out over Carlisle too

Where I am a few months back they were definitely training UKR pilots in the region had some proper low level jets flying round on the dog walk. Was breathtaking and terrifying.

I'm sure a B52 flew over head as well it was that impressive a couple of neighbours came out to view in the courtyard.

I love seeing them flying through the valleys in the lakes.

An RAF A300 flew over late last night coming from Sweden, landed at Dishforth, wonder what it was carrying?

I was going to post surely they were retired years ago, but I decided to check the internet first. The US still have 58 of them in active service. Expected to still be using them in 2050! Produced 1955 to 1963. Similar time to the Vulcan which was retired from service in the 1980s.
