Bit of a different type of war film to the first ones listed on this thread, but this scene was probably one of the first movies where I properly understood just how much music enhances a movie -
There are a number of of great moments in that film.
slightly different interpretation, but the cut from party to the reality of war zone is one of the great film moments for me.
It thought that was Beethoven's fifth?
Our pilot on the helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon played it while approaching the Strip in Vegas. Probably everyone gets it but I thought it was hilarious.
One of the funniest cab journeys of my life was when the cabbie randomly put this on on the way out with the lads.
