Could be a data scam, when it asks for postcodes they could be looking at where there is clusters of higher sympathies towards certain parties, even if you don't declare it that way. For parties like Reform they can know where to push their limited footsoldiers to go from door to door, or direct advertising with limited funds.

I had 23% tendencies towards Reform , if you knock it up to 30 to 40 % and then someone come knocking on my door and starts highlighting concern in areas that I ticked off, you might have another person who votes reform. Even if they don't win the election they can claim a bigger stage in future elections because of a higher % of the vote.

My pro European leanings, taxing big business and funding and staffing the NHS shoved me into Green territory. If it wasn't a protest vote I'd back then, but the imperative is to destroy the Tories and consign them to the wilderness for years while we undo their damage.

Yeah this is pretty much where I am, I think

Exactly the same graphical position for me and feel exactly the same way you do.

I would say I'm further left than that and more progressive but some things aren't a big deal to me and other areas like joining the EU I'm guessing it is assuming that as right when my reasons are left wing reasons. There's also a lot missing out and a lot of assumptions from questions that are too vague. Taxes are high but there are people that should be taxed more and people that should be taxed less etc.

I rushed through mine initially with a toddler jumping all over my lap and trying to beat me up. I did a second time on my own when I was able to give my answers more thought, and I got the following, which is more in line with where I thought I’d be.
Not particularly interesting, but the point is, try and do it when you’ve got time to actually think about it and no distractions, cos it made a difference in my results. Ps, I didn’t re-do it because I was unhappy with first result - it wasn’t a million miles away from where I thought I am politically. I re-did it because I was aware I hadn’t really given it the attention it needed.

You see, we're generally regarded as a majority board of Lefties and yet the results above would tend to show that we are mostly progressive and not such traditional Labour voters. Starmer and his team would do well to study the underlying trends of surveys like this and Taylor their policies to encompass more of the Green issues.
