Virtually Bottom of The Table

Early days and all that but LOL

Like i said during the week there is no way we work our way towards the top of the table with Bola LCB, a wobbly defence that has been unsettled when other areas of the team were priority, Mcnair in Mid, one striker out and out upfront with no consistency each week, no decent replacement for Tav and the spine of the team is terrible.

Feels a bit like square pegs in round holes, the structure of the spine in the team just feels wrong so far this season

Reap what you sow, same old thing every season… hmmmmmmm

How many other clubs have had to replace three strikers this summer? Over reliance of loan players is continuing to cost us its a full scale rebuilt every single summer, no surprise we keep starting slow

To be honest I don't know what happens away from home - three away games we have more goal attempts in all three games than the opposition and in 2 games nearly double and manage just 1 point. It was similar at Bristol City and Barnsley last season.

I can't remember a start like this in any years supporting the Boro in the sense of having so few points for so much effort. Every game this season we have outscored the opposition on chances created.

I remember years we have been really poor and struggled, but overall I would say we haven't been poor, just punished when we have lapsed and not got as many goals as we should have when on top.

Releasing players and not getting replacements has obviously played a significant part to date.

Passing was allegedly crap all over the pitch but that potential LCB we never stop hearing about had better be a world beater. Because Bola replacement is clearly an emergency whilst Lenihan hasn't quite been the rock people predicted and Jones doesn't retain the ball half the time and can't tackle. Add to that up/down performances from Djksteel don't help and Wilder clearly wants rid of Fry. The defence appears to be completely at sea. We'd better hope that Muniz can play like Mitrovic because we're even managing to surrender when teams hardly bother to attack.

Being held off the bottom only because a team has played 3 games less is pretty pathetic to say the least. Before today this was our worst start in 19 years. Not sure if that's even more now. Wilder needs to start transforming this shambles.

Bernie used to say look at the table after 10-12 games. We are not far short of a very good team

I agree Completely

And the problem is how do you attract players now?
I still think we can attract players but clubs now know we have the Spence and Tav money, plus are desperate for players so the prices will be even higher
