Virgin Atlantic Fighting For Survival

Utter madness when you look at an alleged photo from yesterday of an Aer Lingus flight from Ireland to London which was completely full and had no social distancing measures in place.

This is horrible news, have a couple of friends who work there and they are worried they won't be able to get other jobs if they get let go :(

It is hard times for airlines. No time to be losing your job (as if any time is a good time)

The problem is there is obviously going to be a prolonged recession particularly in leisure travel and holidays. Even before this airlines were struggling.

I feel for the people losing their jobs especially as their c**t of a boss sits in his carribbean island tax haven and asks for government handouts.

You do realise he's not their "boss" and he doesn't own the airline?

"The parent company, Virgin Group Holdings Ltd, is registered in the British Virgin Islands. Richard Branson and his family hold a £2.7 billion stake in this offshore, tax-free, tax haven company.
The group's health business received significant media coverage over its legal battle with NHS groups. It sued clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) in Surrey after it lost out on an £82 million contract to provide children's health services across the country. The NHS bodies settled out of court with a £328,000 payout to Virgin Care, resulting in some controversy. More than 100,000 people backed a petition calling on the company to stop "dragging the NHS through the courts".[20][21]
In 2019, it was discovered that cell phones being sold by Virgin subsidiary company Assurance Wireless came with unremovable Chinese malware preinstalled.[22][23][24] "

Oh, so you DON'T realise he's not their boss and doesn't own the airline. Glad I could educate

Pretty clear:
"The parent company, Virgin Group Holdings Ltd, is registered in the British Virgin Islands. Richard Branson and his family hold a £2.7 billion stake in this offshore, tax-free, tax haven company."
It's not though is it? Richard Branson is one of a number of people who own a stake in a company that owns 51% of the airline?

You're acting as if he is the CEO. I'm assuming you know the difference?

Pedantry is clearly one of your strong qualities.

And struggling to speratw Richard Branson, the man, from virgin Atlantic the company clearly one of yours.

Don't worry you aren't the only person to make this basic error. My point being you're trying to bash a company, due to a man assoicted with them. Which is wrong as he doesn't own them and he's not in charge. But still it's only 3000 unemployed people you don't care about be a use you'd rather bash one man
