According to the EFL highlights tonight he has “extended his contract”. Can’t find anything on the internet about this?

Yes. Just googled it and couldn’t find anything. I think they got it wrong. Think they want to offer him a new contract but don’t think anything has been agreed yet. However he seems happy at Coventry.
 
The only way he’s going to sing a new deal with them is if he has a release clause in it, he will want to play at a higher level.
 
He may be doing it to help them out, I’m sure they know he will be in the premier league next season and they want to maximise his return when he goes… £12m at the start of this season wasn’t enough, they might get £25m next season from one of the promoted teams…
 
Could see us signing him if we go up. He’s been back to his best last few weeks. Excellent on the ball with his dribbling and slowing defenders up

I would doubt it, the bigger the fee any club has to pay will lesser the wages they could offer him, he’s more likely talking to them out of respect or in hope they can go up via the play offs. I can’t see him signing any new deal.

Agree Gjokeres is a better centre forward but Chuba is a far better no 10, he’s out scored him despite playing less games and in a deeper position. The assist bit is irrelevant as Akpom created alot of his own chances by playing fantastic balls out wide to McGree and Giles who’ve then provided the assists for him.

Think the way I see it as Akpom is the most complete footballer in the league and there isn’t anyone as good as him.
