Vegan Recommendations

Must admit the best sausages I’ve tried are probably the Co-op ‘Grow range’. Having said that, none of them are great.
I’ve now moved on to making my own using vital gluten wheat.

We have a some really good ’go to’ simple recipes - tart spaghetti, dhal, pistou soup.
Sundays might be a mushroom wellington or walnut and celeriac pie - both with red wine gravy.

I’m a big fan of this App as well as Bosh recipe book.

I’m making a lot of seitan at the moment then using as the protein in various recipes (stir fry, curry, sweet n sour etc). Gets the B12 in too.

Have you checked this place out yet in stokesley ?

The seitan is made fresh on the premises and marinated before adding a lightly spiced paprika breadcrumb coating : lush!
The Dahl soup is also legendary!
Lovely place/atmosphere as well with friendly service 👍
