There's been no word for a few days now about this apparently imminent transfer (reported by the Gazette), ever since Warnock's somewhat alarming comments along the lines of 'It's nothing to do with me'.

Personally, was very excited after watching the clips of this kid: looks like a good-looking Juninho and plays like Terry Cochrane. With the usual caveats about 'the Dutch League' etc, he still looks as if he has the raw materials to become a Boro hero, and with his age he's got good resale potential also. Be gutted if he goes elsewehere...
 
It may be down to moving family or quarantines etc or could be he’s seen Warnocks comments and though f**k it, I’m not going their. Couldn’t blame him if he did. More likely Fulham have hijacked it 🤣
 
We were still at the stage of agreeing personal terms, he has to fly here, agree terms, potentially quarantine, medical, sort everything out. It takes a while especially when they're from abroad
 
Bausor is waiting till deadline day as usual so we can narrowly miss out on a few targets but still find time to sell players.
 
He said good bye to his team's fans in Holland on Saturday and did not play because he said he was leaving. I still think it will happen. Signing for Boro is a definite step up for the lad. A bit like Crooks signing from Rotherham. He's probably a bit raw for Fulham who will want the finished article.

Some people on here seem to think Fulham are the next best thing. They aren't.
 
We should go for the twin threat of Kenning and his younger brother Salford. The Van Hire brothers both have good motors and move quickly about the pitch.
 
Hahahaha, I said a few days back these deals reminded me of the Vitor & Vargas deals from years back. Loads of excitement, nervous silence, then ultimately we fail to bring them in.
 
Couldn't understand Warnock's insulting comments on Saturday and couldn't blame the lad and his agent for looking elsewhere afterwards. Had a feeling the deal had gone bad with nothing coming out of the Gazette since. At least he's not going to another Championship club.
 
Warnock knew when he made the comment. Never heard of him two weeks ago so won’t lose any sleep over it either. If he didn’t want to come and Reims was his preferred choice then fine don’t want him
Near our beloved Boro anyway.
 
I think it far more likely Warnock isn't bothered about him so made a typical Warnock remark and him and his agent probably thought Eff that, let's go somewhere the manager wants me.

It seems in two instances this summer players we've identified and put work into have joined projects where they're made to feel wanted. Not us.
