Surely you choose the person for a transplant with the highest chance of survival, considering they will have a significantly weakened immune system after the transplant, catching Covid would be almost a death sentence. No surprise if they turned the person down for someone who was vaccinated. Common sense, not sure why anyone would be that against the vaccine that they would loose out on life saving treatment

To give you the strongest chance of accepting a transplant, your body is loaded with immuno-suppressants, so you'd be given every vaccine going in the weeks before any possible operation in case you pick up something else while trying to accept a new organ.

You here of various religious groups turning down medical attention and life saving surgery. So I guess it's not a 'new thing'.

The religious right in the US refuse the vaccine because of the use of aborted feotal cells in the testing of the various vaccines. It's the main reason the vaccines have not had wider take up in the USA. Various prominent Christian Pastors call the vaccine the "mark of the Wild Beast" from the Revelation of John.

Pfizer were so concerned about the loss of business they hid the fact the cells were used. But evidently they didn't check they had Christians on staff because one of them leaked emails to Project Veritas.
