Coventry Building Society has confirmed to us the items that supporters will or will not be able to bring into the Arena on a matchday.

Some are self - evident, however if you have a dietary need like lactose intolerance, allergies, diabetes or need to take medication or medical equipment with you - you may need to convince a steward why Arena food wont be suitable - any why you need any equipment. Children wont be allowed to bring flasks or snacks. "Cameras" is an ambiguous one - if your mobile has a camera facility - you may be asked not to use it whilst in the ground? Kids / adults arent allowed to take their Digital Tablets into the arena either. "Narcotics" includes "pain relief" - so dihydrocodeine, lorazepam and diazapam arent officially allowed. However, if you have a medical condition - it may be worth taking evidence of your condition to prove it, in case they get bolshy.

Are they saying you can't take in vapes/cigarettes?

Unlikely.
Yes.
The debate on the twitter feed is quite lively: like, if they take your vapes off you - where do they go and can you have them back afterwards?
Some young kids find it hard to concentrate for 90 minutes and parents are asking why their kids cant take their digital tablets in with them.
People with different medical conditions are peeved about having to "prove" to some steward why they need medication, etc, and why they have to disclose confidential medical information to a total stranger.

Apparently if you put your knuckle duster on your hand and raised your arms as searching was about to begin they either missed it or presumed it was Jewellery 😉
