No idea where you're getting that from but you're totally mistaken.

The CDC is the national public health agency of the United States. It is a United States federal agency, under the Department of Health and Human Services. It is funded entirely by the US government.

In any event, these were not their figures, they just published the report. The data comes from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH).
 
I am not sure that not being vaccinated is a logical decision so won't be overcome with the obvious arguments.

There will be a number of unvaccinated who can't be bothered to make the time. These folks should be targeted and ignore those who just won't do it due to mistrust or misinformation. You won't change their minds.

One thing seems to be coming clear now it's that herd immunity is going to be tough with vaccinations, it isn't successful enough in preventing infections to create herd immunity.

Or, of course, the number for herd immunity is going up faster than the %who are vaccinated.

They are NOT a private company - as is common with government departments everywhere, they do work with private interests. My vaccination certificate is an official US government one, issued by the CDC.
 
The thing is he probably still believes it and that's part of the problem with this whole subject.

A lot of people really believe that the different governments of the world, with all of their differing ideologies and priorities have really come together in some great conspiracy.

They won't be told differently.
