Unless theres a rush of sales, Saturdays game.....

If we dont win on Saturday, I suggest we can put the lid on the play-offs.
And even if we got into the play-offs, this team wouldnt make it to the final and win.
Lets put any optimism to bed and look forward to our 15th season in the Championship since 2009.

That’s the thing though, we can’t!

We’ve been poor this season and we’re STILL only 3 points off. We could lose on Saturday, win the game afterwards and be right back in it again.

This is going to the wire and my nerves can’t take it.

Mid weeks are always the lowest - there will be around 23k on Saturday - it may be the lowest Saturday attendance, but then Oxford are probably one of the least attractive opponents. Poor form would have knocked up to 2k off our crowd.

Mid week = less children, less Boro fans from over 50 miles away. less away fans, live TV game.

The team will be on strict instructions to put on a show to support a late push in early bird renewals.
I'm going 0-1 Oxford.
I've never been more on the fence about renewing, so for that reason I think we will win 4-0, convince me to renew, and then we will laughably surrender at Blackburn away just as we all start to get a little hopeful. It's the Boro way!

3 points off play offs .
Maybe a little bit early to write off the season and to Sack MC.
Jesus Christ ....
Get behind the lads for the last 8 games ..
Oxford are bringing a good following up so should be 24,000 ..
Last home game always gets a extra 7,000 or so , even if nothing is at stake ( never understand why)
Leeds will get 27k
Also good to see close to 3,000 Sold for a Friday night away game
Belief is strong
How many have Oxford sold?
Wasn't anticipating many.

Oxford Manager, Gary Rowett is a shrewd, experienced Manager and operator. He has steadied the ship at Oxford, who looked certainties for relegation at one stage. Don't lets kid ourselves, he hasn't got a game plan. A point for Oxford is just as important for them as a win would be for us. Rowett will be well aware we find it hard to break down defensive teams and play the possession game. Let's not kid ourselves that a rallying cry is going to ignite a mid-table average, spluttering side, into world beaters for the last eight games!

There are eight teams [at least], currently in with a shout of fifth and sixth place, including Coventry, Bristol City and West Brom, whose form is way above ours. There is always a chance, but at the end of the season, have we seriously got the quality, sustainability and metal to take the pressure (?), both from the touchline and on the pitch? It's the hope that kills you, but that's all we've got. I hope I'm terribly wrong, but you judge a season and a Manager on a lot more than the next eight games.

We've won 3 of our last 8 league games and achieved 10 points from a possible 24. Perhaps we will flip it on its head and get 24 from 24? We've lost the most games in the top 8 [14]

It is what it is.

Let's hope loanee gladiator, Iheanacho, scores a hat-trick on Saturday.

Posters on here say our form is poor and there is some truth in that.

How would they describe Oxford's form based on Roofie's table?

They have held on to 18th place and are only 12 points behind us!
Last time out they beat Watford 1-0 in the Kassam Stadium.
Oxford have only lost two more games than us!

This is how the upcoming fixtures look:

We might be fortunate if other results "go our way", but we shouldn't have to be relying on that.

Well I’ll be there.
Bringing a plus one too.
Although if truth be told it’s only so we can have a night out in Boro after…
