There's no need to add whataboutery in this thread. This thread is about the chants towards Boro fans.

To completely undermine my point above, i will add I have criticised Boro fans homophobic chanting in the past, and will continue to do so. I hate the other chants mentioned too. Please don't let this dismiss what the OP was going on about.

I don't think it's whataboutism though, it's highlighting that we SHOULD focus on doing stuff to stamp this behaviour out in our own club before expecting others to do it within theirs.
