Azerbaijani and Turkish leaders hold talks, eye land corridor via Armenia

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev hosted talks on Monday with his Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan at which he hinted at the prospect of creating a land corridor between their two countries via Armenia, which opposes the idea.

It's a horrific case of ethnic cleansing that the world has just watched happen because of geopolitics.

The Azerbaijani media is openly describing parts of Armenia as Western Azerbaijan now, including Yerevan, and pushing for it to be annexed.

But nobody's going to do anything because of Turkey full endorsement, their strategic position and an unwillingness to upset them (see Turkey's ethnic cleansing of Cyprus in 1974).
That and Azerbaijan provides a lot of oil and gas.

Blinken warned lawmakers Azerbaijan may invade Armenia in coming weeks

He also said State isn't planning to renew a long-standing waiver that allows the U.S. to provide military assistance to Baku.

The US Secretary of State is now warning that they may invade Armenia proper in the coming weeks.

We are very selective in what we choose to care about aren’t we? This act of genocide is more complete than anything that took place prior to our decision to go to war with Serbia in a more or less parallel situation, more complete than anything alleged even in the more extreme propaganda on either side of the Russia - Ukraine war, yet we do not care. Not only “officially” which is the usual amorality of geopolitics, but it’s not even deemed newsworthy.

The media is selective. Armenians aren't attractive enough for the Western Media to report and try to protect. The Turks killed over million of them in two years in WW1, but we are not really supposed to talk about it. Many countries still fail to recognise it was a genocide, although the EU Parliament has now.
