Tercera is regional and semi-professional at best, though I'd guess we'd try and stay professional and get back up straight off, but that's not easy, as Deportivo La Coruna are finding .... another "big club" fallen on hard times, though I don't know the background to their problems.Think of all the new grounds you get to visit next season. I believe the spanish third division is non-proffessional though.
Any chance the club could go under if relegated?
We won't go bust now, and in fact structurally and legally things are far better - the "glory years" of 10 or so years ago were "funded" by our very own corrupt sheikh who used the club to line his own pocket and launder money - the club were essentially put in administration by the tax authorities and taken off him a couple of years ago, and a receiver put in place to run the club on a very limited budget. They're trying to get the money back off the sheikh but zero chance of that. The process to transfer ownership to a local group has been under way for a year or so, but the sheikh ain't playing ball and is trying to block it - all very sad
We just need to stabilise now and work our way back
