I’ve seen posts from other drivers saying it’s not just Uber and not Boro drivers doing this. Apparently kids have been doing this to any taxis in certain areas including Boro.Supposedly Boro taxis haven’t taken it well and hired ‘vigilante’ squads

That’s the main issue with Uber. Their price surges can be huge when driver availability is low. It should improve as more drivers are employed but you have the choice of using other firms when it happens which is why added competition is good.Shortage of Uber cars at the moment. I went to Norton last night and checked if Uber had cars available. They did and it was just under £16. Went to book one an hour later and it had gone up to £30.
