I can't help but feel we should all be looking forward to a nice world cup down under in a few weeks time, so I'd like them to at least qualify.

Pleased to hear this result, but I'll admit I didn't think Australia had it in them. Surely a big shot in the arm to the game there after missing out on hosting.

Hope the Kiwis do it too. They'll be distant second favourites, but I get the impression they're usually better underdogs
